I thought now is a good time as any to serve up a review of Milk Makeup Electric Glossy Lip Plumper. These are currently on sale for $12.50 and I’m really concerned they might be discontinuing them as I adore this formula SO much! The shade Buzzed is one of my ride or die nudes and I adore the clear shade to add super shine to lipsticks or even other lipglosses!
Milk promotes these as a high-shine lip gel with a tingle to create fuller, plumper looking lips. I honestly don’t get the tingle from these that I do from a lot of my regular plumping lipglosses however, they do make my lips look cushiony, fuller, and super shiny.
Milk Makeup Electric Glossy Lip Plumper (0.3 oz) arrive in a squeeze tube with a slanted applicator for easy application. They contain Sichuan Pepper with is apparently what gives you that plumped up look! I’m honestly surprised there isn’t more of a sting with them but I feel nothing when I apply them at all.

The formula is a thinner gel consistency with a very moisturizing texture that glides on lips easily. The high shine finish is incredible on these! I think the combination of the almost gel-like consistency plus the shine is what give lips a full look! The shine is just amazing and I can’t rave that part of the formula enough! It’s an incredible shine. Plus I suffer from chronic dry lips and this keeps my lips super smooth, soft, and well hydrated through the wear!
I’m a fan of the shade Buzzed and it isn’t super pigmented but it is a beautiful, natural sheer nude! The clear is another of my go to shades as it works great on top of my favorite lipsticks or even atop glosses that I want a bit of extra shine with! They’re unfortunately a shorter wearing gloss though at around two hours before they wear off on me. I noticed no flavor or fragrance in the formula!
These normally retail for $25 each but currently they’re on sale for $12.50 which hurts my feelings as it probably means they are axing them from Milk’s permanent collection! Grab them while you can before they disappear! I already got backups of the shades I love. Milk Makeup Electric Glossy Lip Plumper is a sheer, plumping liploss with a thin, gel-like consistency that has a sheer color play off with absolutely no fragrance or flavor. This isn’t like a traditional plumping gloss as it doesn’t sting however, the gel-like consistency seems to give my lips a fuller look! It’s ultra shiny with a vinyl-like finish that looks amazing alone or over other lip products. It does have a shorter wear time but honestly, I don’t mind much considering how incredible it feels on my lips! It’s hydrating, shiny, and has the prettiest sheer tint!
