Dolce & Gabbana Fefé Fragrance Mist is a new Alcohol-Free perfume for dogs. Yes, dogs. This new fragrance was created exclusively for dogs with notes of ylang-ylang, musk, and sandalwood for a clean, soft, creamy scent. I mean, I love my dog! I LOVE my dog but do I love my dog enough to spend $99 dollars on a perfume for her? These are the questions that keep me up at night.

Not but seriously, this is really cute idea and dare I say that I’d probably wear this perfume! It sounds like it smells amazing! Apparently was created with Domenico Dolce’s own dog in mind, his beloved companion, Fefé. But of course, as much as one loves one dogs launching a fragrance exclusively for dogs creates some controversy as but not all vets and pet owners agree it’s safe or appropriate.

Dolce & Gabbana Fefé Fragrance Mist certified and suitable for animal use and it follows a Safe Pet Cosmetics protocol designed to ensure a degree of safety of cosmetic products for animals which ensures it’s safe and gentle enough for pets. But some vets feel it interferes with a dog’s sense of smell and that using this could interfere or change an animal’s sense of smell. However, fragrance mists, shampoos, and other items are highly popular with pet “spa days” and with groomers and the industry is actually booming with 1.44 billion dollars in sale. Love it or leave it the pet fragrance industry is doing alright for itself.

That being said, as far as I know, Dolce & Gabbana Fefé is the first luxury fragrance to hit the pet market. There are a variety of different fragrance mists available for animals on the market and even scented dry shampoos but none are in the realms of a brand like Dolce & Gabbana.

I’ve been using this for about a week and a half now and I just forgot. I dunno how but I did. I forgot how rich and thick and lovely and moisturizing and beautifully formulated Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm is. Ugh I love it.

If you never used the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm formula let me just give you the scoop! This cleansing balm comes in a few different sizes with the largest being 3.52 oz for $68 and the smallest being 0.70 oz for $17. They also have a jumbo size and a more medium size which is 1.76 oz for $40. This balm comes in the original formula and the rose one. And from time to time they do a limited-edition one like Summer Bloom or this one, Green Fig.

If you have dry skin, if you have aging skin, or just like the ritual of taking care of your skin and ensuring it’s extra clean I’d recommend this formula. It’s super thick, it’s super emollient, it’s very rich, and luxurious feeling. A little goes a very long way. I’d go so far as the liken to Vaseline in consistency which I realize doesn’t sound appealing but no worries it rinses clean away when water is added. I’m a slugger so this consistency is absolutely luxurious to me as I’m all about richer, heavier formula.

As with all cleansing balms you’ll want to use this on a dry face. Simply scoop a small amount out, massage it into your skin, and add a bit of water to emulsify it. When water is added the formula will quickly break down at which point you can add more water to rinse it off. It rinses clean away, leaves your skin super smooth, lightly hydrated but never stripped or tight. I dunno how I forgot how much I loved this stuff but sometimes when you trying new things you forget the old ones you loved so dearly. I’m so glad this popped into my life again as it truly is one of the best cleansing balms on the market. It just makes washing your face an experience. It removes makeup very easily as well even waterproof mascara. The new fragrance is Green Fig which is a green, earthy fragrance. It smells quite lovely and spa-like which makes the experience of washing your face rather calming.

If you take joy in washing your makeup off at the end of the day and you’re looking for super clean skin without having to deal with dryness or tightness I can’t recommend the Elemis Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm enough! This is a keeper.

Heads up Sol de Janeiro After Hours fans they fragrance is now renamed to Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’76 and will be a permanent part of the brand’s fragrance mist collection. As you may know After Hours was released as a limited-edition scent for Fall 2023 with notes of midnight jasmine, black currant, and amber woods. I didn’t personally like After Hours as much as I had hoped I would. It smelled light like a light version of Flower Bomb and a bit like YSL Black Opium. The scent felt like it left behind the tropical roots that Sol de Janeiro built their brand on but hey, that’s been happening a lot lately with their newer fragrances. I can’t fault them for trying something new though. If it’s been on your wish list ulta.com now has it in stock!

The introduction of Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’76 comes close on another new fragrance released which is Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’48. This is rumored to be another re-promoted fragrance with a new name and apparently smells like the limited-edition, discontinued scent Tan Lines that was released back in Summer 2022.

I think Sol de Janeiro is moving a little too quickly lately. I am a big fan of their fragrances especially their core pieces but they just seem to be releasing scents too quickly now. Not to mention, the whole new packaging, old fragrance is very Bath and Body Works behavior. It’s so easily to alienate fans when you’re constantly releasing new products so quickly especially ones that aren’t really what they asked for or even want. I see a hundred posts a day asking for Coco Cabana to return or to please do a Cheirosa ’71 Body Cream. I’m going to trust Sol de Janeiro knows better than I do what sells but the rehash of old scents in new packaging is becoming tired to me.

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’76 doesn’t have a launch date yet but it should be this Summer. Will you repurchase it?

I recently tried out the ONYX Hydrating Body Lotion & Serum Duo and absolutely loved it. It’s having a viral moment on Tiktok and for good reason it’s an interesting and moisturizing formula. Onyx def has some interesting formula and another is the Foaming & Hydrating Body Wash Shake which I purchased at the time I grabbed the body lotion!

But sadly, it isn’t the droid I was looking for…!

The popular and viral scent in the Onyx Collection is Coconut Bliss which I didn’t manage to find in the Body Lotion Serum but was available in the Foaming & Hydrating Body Wash Shake! I grabbed it up as the formula was intriguing. This is a dual-phase “shake” foaming body wash. It reminds me of Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup remove and can be activated with a simple shake of the bottle that takes it from oil and water to a rich foam once you pump it out of the bottle.

Unfortunately, I didn’t really like it. The foam is very light and didn’t produce a ton of lather which was disappointing. Another disappointing aspect was the fact it didn’t smell like coconut at all. It actually seemed like it was fragrance-free with a soap note at the background. I expected the formula to be hydrating due to the coconut oil but it wasn’t at all. It did rinse clean away without leaving a film behind.

You do get a rather big bottle for $7 bucks which is 16.2 oz but outside of that this was a meh purchase. I’ll maybe use it to shave with but even that isn’t a great use for it as the lather is rather weak. I thought that since the body lotion serum was so innovation the Body Shake would be just as interesting but sadly, it was a no.

If you’re interested in this one I’d say skip it and move on. It is a unique body wash but sadly, the formula is just meh!
