Kopari Seychelles Sands Hair & Body Mist Review

As Summer soon draws to a close I find myself cherishing moments with warmer, Summery scents like Kopari Seychelles Sands Hair & Body Mist. As you know, Kopari recently introduced four hair and body mists which are now part of their permanent collection. The scents are 4 oz in size and $29 each or you purchase the Kopari Beauty Scents of Paradise Hair & Body Mist Kit which has all four fragrances (1 oz each in size) like I did. So far, Kopari Kaanapali Coast Hair & Body Fragrance Mist and Seychelles Sands Hair & Body Mist are my two favs from the collection! It’s a toasty vanilla fragrance that reminds me of a sandy beach but not in a sun tan oil way! It’s what I imagine the warm, grainy sand of a tropical beach might smell like.

Jump ahead for my review!

Of course, these little bottles of fragrance probably remind you of Sol de Janeiro and that leads to the question of which are the cheaper of the two brands! Kopari does come out a little cheaper than Sol de Janeiro. Sol de Janeiro’s smallest mist is 3.04 oz for $24 and Kopari’s is 4 oz for $29, which totals $7.25 an ounce.

Kopari Seychelles Sands Hair & Body Fragrance Mist is packaged in a clear gold bottle with a metallic gold cap. I thought this mist was a little lighter and finer than the one from Sol de Janeiro. I realize that sounds weird but it felt a bit heavy and a cooling on the skin but not oily or sticky.

This warm, creamy vanilla and spice blend contains notes of musk, vanilla, and tonka. It’s not a vanilla cake or cupcake scent it’s a beachy blend all the way but not a tanning oil type of fragrance. It’s warm, spicy, heavy on the vanilla and spice with a powdery dry down that’s almost milky. It does contain Heliotrope which can be smelled in the background. As I said above it’s what I picture sand smelling like!

Top notes:
Milky, Creamy, Spicy
Middle Notes:
Floral Heliotrope, Powdery
Base Notes:
Vanilla, Musk, Tonka

I haven’t tried it yet but combining Kopari Kaanapali Coast Hair & Body Fragrance Mist with this could be interesting! You’d get that spicy vanilla and creamy coconut together in one scent! Plus I would recommend some sort of vanilla or coconut lotion to use as the mist has a shorter wear mist as without lotion or body butter it wears away fast.

Summer days have gone by fast but you can recapture them with Kopari Seychelles Sands Hair & Body Mist. This one is worth picking up if you enjoy beachy vanilla fragrances!
